Alma Pickle
President
A native of northeastern Oklahoma, Alma has over 30 years’ experience in the traffic control industry. Over the course of her career, she has performed every administrative and accounting function necessary to steer the business. She is a working partner who is actively involved in the daily financial and administrative operations of AWS. Alma is an alumnae of Northeastern State University (NSU) in Tahlequah, and is member of the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC). Her role as President of AWS puts the company in a unique position in the industry. Not only is she one of few female presidents in the industry, she is also a member of the Choctaw Nation.
John P. Thomas
Executive Vice-President
John also calls northeastern Oklahoma home. Throughout his career, John's knowledge and skill gained from working in each division of the traffic control industry have made him a more than qualified leader. His responsibilities include management and oversight of field operations along with estimating and bidding. John has over 30 years’ experience in the industry.
Scott Gaddy
Vice President
Scott is also from northeastern Oklahoma. Scott has a positive, long-standing working rapport with the rail industry; developing this type of connection by years of dedicated effort to meet their every need. Scott is responsible for the management and coordination of railroad operations, working with railroads throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Illinois and Texas. He is an alumnae of the University of Oklahoma with over 30 years’ experience in the industry.
